Short talk:
Ellen Hamilton tells the story of the revolution that caused the  mass migration which created our world as we know it. How did millions wind up in southern Scotland? Why did they leave everything they knew, and sail for many weeks on a wooden sailing ship to start a new life, penniless in an unforgiving land?

Film Market: T-Shirts, Scottish Life Magazine, ...

We will end the evening by singing Auld Lang Syne.

This celebration aims to raise awareness for the Scottish poet Robbie Burns, the Clyde River region in Scotland, and support the production of the short historical documentary film, Why They Left: A Scottish Migration.
